Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Description
British World War 2 Daleks from the 8th armoured brigade.
I started work on this model a year ago (see [link]), but got sidetracked by something else. Now I've finally found the time to progress it further.
The submachine gun that replaces the normal beam weapon is loosely based on a sten gun. You can find a close-up of it in my scrapbook ([link]). I want to replace the eye too, but I haven't figured out what to replace it with yet. I'm sure it will come to me.
The model features a new base that is meant to look like it's made of something like flexible black rubber. I really like how it turned out, so I may well use it on my other Dalek model variants too.
In 1975 the BBC made the Doctor Who serial "Genesis of the Daleks", which told the story of the Daleks' creation. The Daleks in that serial were supposed to look primitive, but in fact they looked exactly the same as any other Daleks we've seen. I was once asked what I thought the Genesis Daleks should have looked like, and this model goes some way towards answering that question.

Like the concept, not sure about the sten gun though. I would have thought that these primitive Daleks would have had guns like the ones you saw on Death to the Daleks.
